At the end of January, the Danubia Orchestra, one of the country's leading symphony orchestras, will perform at the House of Arts.
Conducted by Gábor Hontvári, it will be a memorable evening for classical music fans. The theme of Ravel's Bolero is familiar to almost everyone, but it is also a unique piece for percussionists, as the snare drum plays the same rhythm throughout. Miklós Csemiczky is preparing a surprise, a premiere for the concert. The audience in Miskolc knows him personally, as he has been teaching at the University of Miskolc for almost 25 years. The concert will end with a great classic, Brahms' Symphony No. 3.
