On 6 November, the audience will have the opportunity to listen to Handel's Theodora performed by Emoke Baráth, the Capella Savaria and the Purcell Choir. The outstanding dramatic oratorio by the Baroque composer wasn’t really appreciated when it was first performed at London's Covent Garden, but it has now taken its rightful place among the composer's finest musical 'festive plays', and has recently been often staged as an opera.
