Concessions:

We offer 10% concession to students, pensioners owners.
Season ticket holders of Filharmonia Hungary can obtain tickets nationwide at 20% discount for our concerts for adult audience!

Subscriptions can be purchased at the Hangvilla box office (Brusznyai St. 2, Veszprém; +36 88 889 180), as well as online at www.jegymester.hu.

Renew your seat-specific subscription by 7 August 2026, or purchase a new subscription by 13 November 2026, valid until the first concert.
Individual tickets will be available starting 13 October 2026.

Purchase your season ticket by July 7 and win!
All season ticket holders who purchase their pass by July 7 will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win one of four pairs of tickets to the August 10 concert of the OrganPoint series, featuring a joint performance by Mónika Kecskés and László Deák at St. Michael’s Cathedral.

Filharmonia Hungary season ticket holders can purchase tickets with a 20% discount by showing their season tickets! The discount applies to one ticket per subscription, per concert.

The oratorio Athalia was written by George Frideric Handel, based on the French dramatist, Jean Racine’s play from 1691. The Old Testament story, which also features in the Book of Kings and the Book of Chronicles, is set in the time of the queens who ruled the land of Israel and worshipped the god Baal. The last of these was the tyrant Athaliah whose downfall is recounted in the oratorio. Athalia was written eight years before The Messiah, Handel's best-known and most popular oratorio, but according to György Vashegyi, founding conductor of the Purcell Choir and the Orfeo Orchestra, Athalia it is the more superior composition.
