Júlia Pusker was born into a family of musicians in Kecskemét. She started playing the violin at the age of 5 and in 2014 she won the Junior Prima Award for her impressive way of playing. Julia currently plays an Italian violin, made in 1690 by Matteo Goffriller.
Dóra Kokas got her first violin at the age of four, but this choice of instrument did not last long, because her family persuaded her to play the cello, as her sister and the spouse of her sister play the violin. Dora was taught by her mother, who remembers both the good and bad moments of that time. She claims that "a child quarrels with her mother in the least reluctant manner and has a fall out with her more easily than with anybody else."
If you are wondering how the play of the two soloists sounds in interaction with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, come to the Famous Agora in Kecskemét on January the 13th and listen to this unique concert.
