YOUNG AND TALENTED
The Fischer Annie Music Performance Scholarship, named after the Hungarian pianist Annie Fischer, is a distinguished Hungarian state grant supporting talented early-career instrumentalists and vocal soloists. Awarded to artists under 30, it is given to only a select few exceptional talents each year. Beyond financial assistance, it fosters professional growth, broadens performance opportunities, and helps artists become part of the musical community, playing a vital role in nurturing Hungary's future classical musicians. Sebestyén Pellet is among the most promising young pianists, having received the scholarship in 2024 and 2026. Sebestyén Sztathatosz has been awarded the Fischer Annie Scholarship three times. He performs as both a soloist and a chamber musician at renowned international festivals. Boglárka Forgó, a rising cellist, became a scholar in 2026 and is currently studying at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, where she holds the Bank of China scholarship.
On this evening, three scholarship artists at different stages of their careers will showcase their exceptional musical abilities in solo, duo, and trio performances.
